Today we are featuring two fantastic wines out of New Zealand. First up is the Palliser Estate Pinot Noir 2007. This wine hails from the Martinborough region of New Zealand, which is famous for Pinot Noirs that have a deep flavor and almost Burgandian quality to them. It is rare you find a Pinot Noir at this price that offers such amazing flavors!
Our next wine is from the Marlborough Coast, an area known world wide for its extremely fresh and citrus fruit packed Sauvignon Blancs. The Brancott 'B' Sauvignon Blanc is one of the best I have had recently. Bursting with fresh flavors that keep on going throughout the long finish. There isn't a lot of this wine produced annually (The 2008 vintage saw only 500 cases imported into the US) so buy this limited bottle while you can!
