"The Arietta Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 is unquestionably the best Cabernet Sauvignon we have produced to date. The Howell Mountain vines tended with bonsai-like precision by grower David Abreu gave us a vibrant wine with opulent aromatics and the miraculous balance of the vintage. The almost decadently rich Arietta Claret 2005, our second vintage for this wine, is made from top blocks of Bordeaux varietals grown at the summit of Howell Mountain, with the addition this year of Merlot from Arietta's N Block on the Hudson Ranch in Napa/Carneros." ~Winery Notes
