"The 2005 Garnacha contains 9% Mourvedre sourced from 80-year-old vines. The wine was aged in used French oak. Dark ruby-colored, it delivers a fragrant bouquet of cedar, saddle leather, black raspberry, and kirsch. Full-bodied yet gentle and caressing on the palate, the flavors are sweet, savory, and complex. It has enough structure to permit cellaring for 2-3 years or it can be enjoyed now and over the next decade."
