"Opaque ruby. Ripe, brooding kirsch and blackcurrant aromas are further deepened by licorice and espresso. A real black hole on the palate, with slowly unfolding dark fruit liqueur flavors, chewy tannins and a long, sweet, compote-like finish. This should be great with grilled or braised lamb. Very serious for this price. "
