Robert Parker 90-92
"The 2003 Cotes du Ventoux Carpe-Diem was fashioned from minuscule yields of 20 hectoliters per hectare for the Grenache (50% of the blend) and 15 hectoliters per hectare for the Syrah (50% of the blend). This 11,000-bottle cuvee was aged 12 months in barrel, of which 40% is new. Reminiscent of a mini-Hermitage from southern France, it boasts a saturated purple color as well as blockbuster concentration and richness, high alcohol, medium to full body, and surprising freshness for its size and extract. It will deliver glorious drinking between 2006-2012. "
