"The 2009 Vinea Tempranillo Crianza demonstrates a little more pizzazz, more vigor on the nose with dark cherries, mulberry, dark plum and a touch more spiciness than the 2010. The palate is medium-bodied with a crisp dark plum and boysenberry entry struck through with crisp citric acidity. There is more tension here than displayed by the 2010, offering spice and white pepper on the aftertaste. It is the more interesting wine overall."

"This plush red shows a rich, roasted character, with kirsch, blackberry jam, toast and espresso notes. Round and soft, showing some depth and just enough tannin for grip."
"An intense bouquet, expressive and complex, powerful fruit driven, with very ripe red fruits. Complex layering of dark cherries, plums, cocoa, vanilla, coconut and mocha nuances, all highlighted by balsamic hints. On the palate the wine is elegant and velvety wine. Good volume, creamy and very expressive. Well-structured ripe tannins support this rich wine through to a smooth lingering finish." ~Winery notes
