Matua Valley Winery

They said we were mad, back in 1974 when Ross and Bill Spence produced New Zealand's first Sauvignon Blanc. Since then Matua has continued to lead the NZ wine industry with outstanding quality wines and many accolades, including NZ Wine Producer of the Year at the IWSC 2012. Has it gone to our heads, hardly. We're fired up to do more. Follow our story at www.matua.co.nz

"Vibrant cherry red in color, the nose exhibits sweet cranberry and blackberry fruit with subtle vanilla oak notes. The palate is soft and full of rich ripe fruit, balanced nicely with spicy toasted oak and fine tannins. The resulting palate has a delicate structure with length and complexity.~
