Outstanding value
A “too good to be true” ... but it is.

A Gem
This has become my favorite go-to red. Succulent. Full. Great initial assault on the pallet and fine finish. A Wonderful surprise at the price.

Mollydooker 'Two Left Feet' Shiraz Blend 2015
A favorite for several years
By blending the wine has a more elegant touch ... a bit less jammy than The Boxer

Compania Vinedos Iberian 'Yaso' Tinta de Toro 2012
A Great Go-To
I keep re-ordering Yaso . . . . it haunts me. It has become one of the wines that I compare others against when looking for quality, enjoyability and value.

Chateau Escot Cru Bourgeois Medoc 2010
Did not live up to its hype
Prefer other blends on the basis of taste and value.

Fabre Montmayou Reserva Malbec 2013
Great every day choice.
Nothing magical . . but fully delivers, is what it should be and the QPR . . Wow

Venus La Universal 'Dido' 2013
A Blessing
Best QPR I have experienced in many moons. Have served to many friends and most subsequently sought it out.

Great Taste and Value
Probably the best in class and if value is added into the equation . . Outstanding !!!

Tintonegro 'Uco Valley' Malbec 2012
Created a Sensation
Served to a group of friends who raved about it, favored it over a more expensive Malbec "standard" and then went out and bought some . . putting their coin where their tastebuds are. Will be Have ordered more.

Two Hands 'Gnarly Dudes' Shiraz 2011
Under rated - fairly priced
Full and long. Lots of fruit. One of my favorite Aussie Shiraz

Bodega Classica Hacienda Lopez de Haro Rioja Reserva 2005
An All Star
One of the best values to be found

Chateau Lafite Rothschild Pauillac 2010
Exquisite but
Cannot complain about the juice . . . near perfection. But the value . . . . well there are several to choose from that can save you several hundred dollars a bottle and will not disappoint. But the taste coupled with label value / snob / name appeal may drive you to this . . and no one will dare say you were wrong.

Domaine de Bouscat Caduce Bordeaux Superior 2012
Under rated - over delivered
Just a great Bordeaux blend. Drinks at a significantly level than its rated. Would pay 2x-3x (and have) for something this tasty.

Bodega Classica Hacienda Lopez de Haro Crianza 2013
Based on value
A high quality swill. Great value even among Spanish wines.

Chateau Puech-Haut 'Bosc Negre' 2009
Too early
Feels like it will grow into a fine bottle of pleasure . . . but for today it simply is not ready to enjoy

Alvaro Castro 'D.A.C.' Tinto 2011
Tasty
Worth your time and taste buds. Good way to stimulate both. Full and long. A bargain for an easy every day appellation.

Domaine Mur-mur-ium Sublime Syrah 2011
Agree . . and pass
Christopher refers to the berry flavor . . he's correct there is a lot of that. Too much by a good measure. Kevin describes an off-putting nose . . . he is right also. No subtlety or grace. Seemed like an in-your-face berry bomb.

Marquis Philips 'Sarahs Blend' 2011
A Great Find
A tremendous facilitator for sitting around, sipping and solving the world's problems. Excellent spice box and much more refined and smooth than it has any right to be at this price point. The move from Australia to Spain improved an already delightful wine.

CVA Pinyolet Garnacha 2011
