Chateau de Landiras Graves Merlot/Cabernet 2014 image
Posted Feb 26, 2017

"This wine is a great blend of Cabernet and Merlot. The color is a deep garnet red with tints of purple throughout. The nose displays aromas of cassis, currant and pleasant spice. This huge fruit forward wine gives a lovely palate of blackberry and more blackcurrant. There are silky soft tannins that help create a fairly lengthy finish. There is a great balance that gives a sense of perfect harmony. Great for smoky barbecue foods or even a light seafood dish."

Chateau de La Chaize Beaujolais 2014 image

"Chateau de la chaize is one of the most historic estates of the Beaujolais region. This Cru Beaujolais is a great value. There strawberry and raspberry aromas and is a light Ruby in color. With a very bright acidity and sliky fruits, this is a very lively wine. Pair with any meats and strong cheeses."

Fattoria di Basciano Chianti Rufina 2013 image

"If you are a looking for a wine with great value look no further. This Chianti embodies Tuscany within the glass. There are great dark aromas of cherry, plum and graphite. There is a mid level acidity and a medium body to pair with. There is a silky tannin and a fairly long finish. This is an excellent Chianti for the price and a wonderful bottle to pair with food; pairs exceptionally well with spaghetti carbonara."

Chateau Puech Haut la Closerie du Pic 2014 image

"This wine is a phenomenal wine. It has the elegance, full-body experience while also being very rich and textured. The wine has a lot of characteristics that evolve as the wine is allowed to open up. Being from around the Saint Drezery region, the wine exhibits great terroir. On the nose there are notes of cassis and black raspberry. There are also notes of pepper, smoked meats and a stony quality. Overall the wine is a great ripe wine that has a great deal of purity and a great amount of freshness. A great wine to drink with some steak, burgers, or a rich chocolate cake."

Manni Nossing Kerner 2014 image

"If you are looking for a bottle to bring out to a dinner and impress with, look no further. Manni Nossing is a producer out in Italy that has made a name for himself and has impressed again with this beautiful Kerner. This Kerner displays a wonderful aroma of nice citrus and pear. On the palate is where the wines true colors come through. The wine produces a wonderful sense of the terroir of sand and granite in Alto Adige through the hints of minerality and petrol. There are also great tropical flavors that resemble the Parent Grape, Riesling. A wonderful wine to pair with seafood, light meats and cheeses or as a refreshing summer wine. If you want to experience the Alto Adige terroir in wine, this is the wine for you."
