This wine is de-alcoholized via vacuum distillation, which removes the alcohol under extremely low pressure and temperature, thereby preserving the nuances of aroma and flavor. Riesling is the flagship grape of Leitz, so its a natural progression that the Eins Zwei Zero Riesling would be the estates first alcohol-free wine produced. This riesling is produced from grapes harvested from young vines, and is fresh and vibrant, with lime, citrus, and apples on the palate. The off-dry finish is clean and refreshing with delicate mineral notes.




Once the home of some of the worlds most sought after wines, the Rheingau fell to mediocrity in the years following WWII. Johannes Leitz took over his family's vineyard in 1985 and, in the decades since, has made it his lifes work to reclaim the intrinsic quality of his native terroir.
