"Golden amber with hints of ruby red. Very soft and rounded with fruity notes of red apples. Sherried character and fruity aromas balanced with a rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness. Warming and lingering. Sweet and very slightly spice." ~Distillery Notes

Amber in the glass, this Scotch has a rich butterscotch aroma, with touches of fresh apple and tropical fruit. Look for dried fruit and Sherry upfront on the palate, with additional notes of vanilla and oak that hang on through the exceedingly long and rounded finish. Though it's mouthcoating and oily, it's also roughed up a bit by the high proof, giving it a drying edge on the close. ~Kara Newman
About Aberlour
Let the DEED show
Rather than boasting about the distinctive qualities of his Aberlour single malt, our founder, James Fleming remained true to his family's motto since the days of Robert the Bruce, 'Let the deed show.' The proof is in the drinking.

This saying simply translates as, 'actions speak louder than our words'. James Fleming let his whisky do the talking. It was his actions then, and the actions now of all our craftsmen that define the character of Aberlour.
