" Bottled and distributed in the UK, Beefeater London Dry Gin Premier, is the most exported variety of gin in the world. It possesses a bouquet of aromatics of seville orange, witchhazel, angelica, coriander, cassia, licorice, almond and orris root. The liquor is heavy with a bite of alcohol at 94 proof and the taste that is a nice mixture of licorice, juniper, citrus and the other spices with hints of marzipan and almonds in the background. Finish is remarkably smooth for a high proof gin and has spinach notes and resin." ~ Distillery notes

“A textbook London Dry Gin bouquet; floral, earthy, spicy and crisp with dry notes of orange peel and black pepper all underpinned by the presence of juniper berry. The palate entry is sharp, crisp, dry and botanically balanced; at midpalate a burst of citrus juiciness counters the earthiness of the juniper and angelica root. Finishes with a wonderful rush of juniper.”

Welcome to one of London's best kept secrets - the Beefeater Distillery in Kennington – where our gin is still hand-crafted to a recipe that is virtually unchanged since the 1800s.
London, one of the world's great cities, has played a leading role in the development of London Dry Gin, one of the world's great drinks. From the dawn of English gin distilling, the history of London and Beefeater Gin has been closely intertwined.
Housed in an Edwardian building with a 1950s extension, the Beefeater Distillery features original Victorian pot stills and a botanical room, where the fresh ingredients are stored. A custom-built visitor centre allows connoisseurs to see the original stills, view the distilling process and learn about the history of gin in London.
