Ultimate Spirits Challenge 96 (2019)
Extraordinary, Ultimate Recommendation
"Luscious juniper shows as rich pine sap dripping on the nose frames an opulently soft gin that showcases unexampled botanicals such as star anise and a breath of lavender behind a curtain of orange peel. Unrestrictedly sumptuous, this gin is a star player for a gin & tonic or martini."
" Cognac still produced gin from the Grande Champagne region of Cognac in France. The gin is a blend of 19 botanicals, with heavy juniper focus mellowing into a blend of floral, citrus and spice notes. Perfect in martinis and classic gin cocktails " ~ Distillery notes
CitadelleView all from Citadelle
Citadelle gin is now produced in the South-West of France, the birthplace of another fine spirit. As it was produced in the 17th century, Citadelle gin is distilled in small copper pot stills with a naked flame. Using centuries old know-how passed down through five generations of master distillers, Alexandre Gabriel and the Pierre Ferrand cellar master have brought back to market a complex, refined and elegant gin.
