Beverage Dynamics review: Generally, ECBP has two extremes of flavor. On one end are the candy bombs, with sweet confectionary notes, like last years A122. On the other is earthy, chocolatey whiskey like the recent B523. This latest release, ECBP C923, is the latter, with ample earthiness and dark chocolate above a backbone of lovely heat and oak. The higher-than-usual age and proof provide additional layers of richness, making this a memorable bottle that belongs in the collection of any Heaven Hill fan.
