"Blackpool is bold, full flavoured and eminently smooth overproof British-style single estate distilled spiced rum. Mastery of art expertly balances Blackpools naturally occurring Bourbon barrel notes of exotic dried fruit, island spices and vanilla bean with an all natural spiced infusion resulting in the definitive spiced rum experience. Exotic dried fruit overlaid with island spices, releasing a profile of cinnamon, freshly ground nutmeg, cloves and ginger all resting on a warm vanilla swirl. Developing notes of toffee, butterscotch, cocoa and butter rum flavors. A distant lingering of gentle Bourbon oak and steeped tea finish well distinguish Blackpool as uniquely crafted by Lemon Hart & Son."

The Rum
Lemon Hart is a dark, 151 proof (75.5 abv) Demerara rum, taking its name from the 3rd generation merchant trader, Lehman Hart, who built his familys brand into what became the inaugural, Admiralty appointed supplier of rum to the British Royal Navy. Lehman was well respected as a businessman, philanthropist, community leader and rum authority, who possessed an adventurous spirit and uncanny ability to generate excitement. These attributes, combined with Lehmans carefully sourced, well blended rums from around the Caribbean, has enabled Lemon Harts name to endure for over two centuries. Today, Lemon Hart is distilled in our favorite (and ONLY) Demerara producing country Guyana, by the last remaining distillery in the country, Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL), at Plantation Diamond.
