VineyardThe vineyards we work with are farmed using the most up to date sustainable practices.Golden West Vineyard (100%): Golden West Vineyard sits on the far western edge of Frenchman Hills and the soon to be appointed AVA Royal Slope, located the 47th parallel overlooking the Columbia River. At an elevation of 1600 feet, Golden West has a temperate microclimate moderated by the Columbia River. The vineyard features similar temperatures and latitude as the great Pinot Noir vineyards of Burgundy. Golden West has always been farmed organically, and the soil composition is similar to Burgundy with ancient limestone and fossilized sea creatures mixed with sand and volcanic rock. We planted this vineyard with a combination of four Pinot Noir clones- 777, 115, 2A and pomard 5, to create a complex and balanced wine.
