Joe Campanale, renowned sommelier, restaurant operator and Italian wine aficionado, founded Annona in 2013. Infatuated with the wine regions of Abruzzo and Campania, Joe launched Annona to celebrate his love of Italy's indigenous varietals and respect for its organic wine making practices. The entire Annona collection is made from fruit that is organically farmed and harvested by hand. Each wine is bottled without filtration or added yeast, in line with the non-interventionist style that Joe firmly believes best showcases the true flavors of the regions. The result is distinct, expressive wines that elegantly speak to the diverse terroir of the respective vineyards.
