The passion for the vineyard is that of the family; Dominique, 6th generation, receives his fervor for the vines from his grandfather on an estate entirely intended for the production of armagnac.
Passionate, proud to continue with the same faith and the same ardor this beautiful family history, Dominique took over the operation of the estate from an early age and decided to change course by opting for the production of quality white wines, wines from the Côtes de Gascogne region, now called IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) Côtes de Gascogne.
For this, Dominique completely restructures the existing 20 hectare vineyard, enlarges his vineyard and renovates the wine cellar. This in-depth work will last nearly 20 years. Over the course of successive acquisitions, the vineyard, today of 125 hectares, feeds on the richness of a typical Gascon soil: a clay soil, planted on a limestone bedrock, benefiting from a temperate oceanic climate favoring good maturity. The grape variety is based on white grape varieties, due to the property's Armagnac origin: Colombard, Ugni blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, make up 80% of the vineyard.
The remaining 20% is intended for the production of rosé and red wines with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties.
