Chateau La Croix Lartigue Cotes du Castillon 2011

91  James Suckling
Wine Spectator 90 "This is rock-solid, with smoldering charcoal notes lending a pleasant framework to the core of crushed plum, blackberry and anise flavors. Dark humus accents line the finish. This has the grip for mid-term cellaring. Drink now through 2020. 2,000 cases made."  James Suckling
Item Number: 25791

"A great addition for your collectionA savory expression from the Bordeaux region, this Merlot, Cabernet Franc blend will steal the show at your next gathering. A broodingly dark medium to heavy body hits the nose with soft blackberries, vanilla and cocoa. Firm tannins throughout provide the backbone as underlying coffee, tobacco and stone notes support smoky dark fruits on the palette. Will easily hold up for several years in your cellar." — Matt

Clos du Mont Olivet Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2015

94  James Suckling
James Suckling 94 "A beautifully crafted wine that has a deeply fragrant rose and red berry nose. The purity of grenache sings brightly. In the mouth it offers a fluid, even-paced and smoothly structured impression. Deceptive power, too. Best from 2020."  Vinous Media 91-93 "Vivid ruby. Heady,
"Outstanding Value! This French classic is a lovely crimson red in the glass with a thin pink rim. A hefty bouquet of raspberries, pepper, and spices can be noted from even a few feet away. Candied cherries and raspberries on entry followed up by flavors of pepper, herbs, and hints of oak and earth. Full bodied with soft tannins and a very well balanced and structured delivery. The finish is long, lingering, and spicy. This would pair well with a lamb roast or your favorite meaty chili dish." — Michael

Owen Roe Ex Umbris Syrah 2015

"We have done it again with the 2015 Ex Umbris Syrah. Black cherry, boysenberry, blueberry and plum swirl through the glass. Flavors of dried fruits, spice, pepper and layers of pie filling, berry cobbler and cigar box fill the palate. Enjoy now after 1-2 hours decantation or cellar for 6+ months
"Top Notch Washington SyrahThe 2015 Ex Umbris Syrah from Owen Roe will give any Northern Rhône a run for their money. After a decant, it opened up nicely with strong aromas of blueberry and wild game. The palette is intense, woodsy with lots of dark fruit and white pepper. I can’t think of a better pair your backyard spring barbecue." — Matt
