"Riesling, The Jewel of NY WineRiesling is the darling of NY wine and this entry level offering from Red Tail Ridge is a great example why. The nose is simple in the glass: honey, apricot and petrol. The wine is off dry and medium in body. Hefty amounts of peach, flowers, and honey dew melon on the tongue finish crisp and smooth. For about 10 bucks this bottle needs to be kept on hand in the fridge!" — Dan

"Add This to Your List! This Bordeaux style blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot and Carménère from northern Italy is sure to please a variety of pallets. Although considered their entry level wine, the 2013 Terre di San Leonardo is a great expression of what northern Italy has to offer. After about 30 minutes, this wine begins to open up, providing a lively nose of mainly plum and currant, with some subtle hints of grass, mint and tobacco. The pallet is driven by bold, dark fruit flavors with a spicy and tannic, yet elegant finish. This wine carries with it a typical Italian acidity and structure that will allow for it to continue to evolve over the next several years." — Paul

Grilled chicken loaded with green seasoning will really let this beauty show its full potential." — Eric

Vinous Media 93 "The 2014 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is deep, pliant and incredibly inviting, with a fabulous combination of pliant fruit, expressive aromatics and superb persistence. Rose petal, mint, savory herbs and game add the closing shades of inflection. There is something (a lot) to be said
"Sonoma Pinot for Sunny WeatherBest enjoyed on your favorite stoop, porch, or balcony- this Sonoma County Pinot Noir from the cool folks at Wind Gap pairs well with pleasant weather. Nuances of smashed raspberries and strawberries drive the palate while earthy complexities of mushrooms and charred earth compliment the effort. Change your mind about California Pinot." — Jake

Hecht & Bannier Minervois 2014
88  Wine Spectator
Wine Spectator 88"Dried cherry, balsamic and licorice notes are the hallmarks of this full-bodied red, with supple tannins framing herb, olive tapenade and spice notes that weave through the finish. Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. Drink now through 2022." ~G.S.
"Excellent Southern French ValueA standout red in an undervalued region, Hecht & Bannier's Minervois has all of the sophistication and elegance of a high end southern French red. Consisting mostly of Syrah, followed by Grenache and Carignan, the wine opens up with strong herbal notes, dark fruits, and white pepper. A little vanilla and meatiness is sewn together by silky tannins. An excellent value for the price point, enjoy this stunner with a gamey meat, or simply on it's own with friends." — Matt
