James Suckling 90
Quite floral with fresh rose and violets, as well as bright cherries. The palate has a succulent and slightly tart mouthfeel with light cherries. The finish needs more time.

Here is a bright and balanced Barolo made with a blend of fruit from clear across the entire appellation. The 2014 Barolo Undicicomuni exhibits great fruit intensity with dark cherry, spice and grilled herb in equal measure. This wine exhibits profoundly food-friendly characteristics, such as balanced acidity and the fine tannins required to cut through cheese and meat-based dishes.
