The NV Brut Cuvee is the finest entry-level methode Champenoise wine being made in Italy. White peaches, green apples, flowers and crushed rocks are layered into an energetic frame of notable class. Bellavista's Brut Cuvee is one of the go-to wines at my house. It never disappoints.

The grapes used for Alma Gran Cuvee are sourced from 10 different plots within the 10 districts of Franciacorta, all with south or south-east orientation, an altitude of 200-350 meters, and full exposure to the breezes coming from Lake Iseo and the foothills of the Alps. The care of the vineyard is entrusted to true grape growing experts, and the average age of the vines, which has now exceeded 20 years, is just one of the many parameters that attest to the utmost respect reserved for the work of winegrowers.
Bright yellow in color with green reflections. The nose is characterized by marked minerality and notes of sweet ripe fruit, meringue, pastry and candied peel. The palate is fruit-driven with a creamy mouthfeeland a texture that combines elegance and harmony.
The non-vintage Brut, a blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, is an amazing sparkling wine exhibiting gorgeously precise, persistent pinpoint bubbles, as well as a creamy, superbly concentrated texture, a terrific, complex bouquet of bread dough and ripe fruit, and a long, pure finish. Although it looks like French Champagne, smells like French Champagne, and tastes like French Champagne ... it's Italian! Drink it over the next several years, although I am sure it will last longer.

Within the international quality sparkling wine sector, we are too small to be like the other producers in the world. Our only hope is to be different. And in Bellavista we have always been different, not by trying to please, but by producing something that lasts.
We cultivate the time of waiting, in every single gesture and in every single thought. We don't rush things when it comes to slow blossoming and slow ripening. We work on these with time-proven cultivation methods, which comply with the rhythms of nature and do not try to cheat it with any hyper- technical language. We follow our course, with resolution and patience and according to the unchanging and natural time of things, preferring the experience and knowledge of one's hands. The privilege of the right vineyard exposures; mass selection; vine training methods; manual harvest and pressing, harvest selections (vineyard by vineyard, row by row); fermentation in small white oak casks, an allegiance between wine and wood, which is essential for refining the character of our Franciacorta wines; selections of different vintages – over 100 – and those of our reserve wines – over 20 – with which we create each of our cuvees; re-fermentation in bottles in our cellars at a constant temperature of 13°C and then silent refinement over long years (more than six sometimes). This is a time of peace and this is the basis of a wine's salvation and longevity, enabling us to be sure that the time of waiting will become a time of friendship, and underlining the value of true time-proven bonds.
