Aromas of fresh blackcurrants, dark chocolate, roasted coffee and tobacco. Its medium-to full-bodied with firm, sleek tannins. Fresh and tight with a cool, stony finish. Try from 2022.

Garnet black color. Aromas and flavors of vanilla, blackberry jam, and gingerbread cookie dough with a chewy, lively, dry full body and a warming, interesting, very long finish with overtones of dark chocolate, currant, and fennel seed with firm, well-integrated, grippy tannins and heavy oak flavor. Complex Cabernet that shows ginger pastry alongside dark fruits and herb.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Knights Valley) is a very elegant wine, especially for the appellation. Sweet cherry, mint, rose petal, gravel, licorice and orange peel give the 2018 soaring aromatic nuance. This gracious, mid-weight Cabernet has so much to offer.

Lots of creme de cassis and plum-styled fruits emerge from the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley, and it has medium-bodied richness, a charming, elegant texture, classic Cabernet chocolate, leafy herbs, and earthy notes, and a great finish. Its another rock-solid, enjoyable, nicely textured Cabernet thats well worth drinking over the coming 8-10 years.
This Cabernet is set each vintage as a Bordeaux blend, with soft and silky tannins and a plush, full mouth-feel setting it up for immediate enjoyment, although it's built to age and develop further complexity. Aromas of dried herbs, cedar, clove and lavender join flavors of dark red fruit led by figs, black cherry, currants, boysenberry, huckleberry, raspberry, and evident oak spice are joined with more traditional Knights Valley tones of black olive, wild sage and mocha chocolate. Fine acidity and balance with an elegant structure lead to a lingering, memorable finish. ~Winemakers Notes
