"The 2013 Macon is slightly more perfumed with similar crisp acids interwoven with elegant, slightly honeyed citrus flavors as well as that naked, fresh minerality and fruit character that makes Macon so appealing. Both are best consumed in their first several years of life. These are special cuvees made exclusively for Polaner Selections. Both are 100% Chardonnay aged in stainless steel until being bottled in the spring following the vintage. Most good Macons sell for over $20, so it is nice to see two vintages of very good Macon only costing $15."~Robert Parker

"The 100% Chardonnay, Mâcon, is made from a selection of some of the northern-most vineyards in the appellation. With hints of citrus and white stone fruit on the palate and balanced acidity, the wine resembles the more exalted whites of the Cote d’Or.
