The Broadside Margarita Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is the result of our faithful effort to capture a pure and unadulterated representation of grape and site. With 1000 feet of elevation and a chilling coastal influence, the well-drained soils at Margarita Vineyard provide a balance of stress and sustenance to the rugged vines.
Their fruit is marked by small berries, concentrated flavors, and fine tannins. While robustly fruited in its youth, Broadside Cabernet Sauvignon is also graced with an underlying framework of subtle tannin and acidity that ensures a bright future in the cellar as well.
A classic Paso Robles vintage, 2014 produced fruit with near ideal ripeness and intensity. Deep aromas of fresh red and black berries are under- woven by subtle notes of cedar, mint and spice.
Generous fruit and tannin flesh out the palate, while the natural acidity typical of Margarita Vineyard brightens the mouthwatering finish.

Broadside produces wines focused on purity and true varietal expression. We favor balance and simplicity, giving consumers a window to the promise of the central coast and varietal character void of manipulation. Our winemaking employs a natural approach in that our wines are minimally handled to best express the grape, site and vintage. We harvest at lower sugars, employ native fermentation and use little to no new oak to create wines of balance and finesse that make sense on the dinner table.
