NY Times 20 Under 20: Minimal Effort, Maximum Pleasure
'This perfumed, rich, yet lively red, made from 90-year-old vines, comes from the foothills of Mount Etna in Sicily, and it has all the nervous energy I have come to expect from wines made in the shadow of that active volcano. I love the play of sweet and bitter flavors, balanced by acidity and the barest scrape of tannins.
These 90 year old vines are harvested at the end of October and aged in Oak barrels. Maceration on the skins for 8 - 10 days.
