"From an Australian family with over 140 years in Australain winemaking this fine sticky wine, luscious with butterscotch toffee and tea leaf gains support from orange peel acidity. The palate is ever evolving and shows multiple personalities as it opens in the glass. One finds honey comb to gently singed brown sugar all in one glass. Serve with vanilla ice cream, fruity desserts or soft cheeses. As well, you may lightly chill and serve as an aperitif or as an after dinner drink with coffee. This is late harvest Muscadelle, left on the vine to fully ripen until raisined and laden with natural sugar. The resulting wine is then blended with wines from previous vintages to produce a consistent style and contains portions from a number of vintages over several years. This was the final bottling of the Rutherglen Tokay. Hungary claimed Intellectual Property rights to the name in 2005."
