Clos de Chacras was established in 1987 by the grandchildren of Italian-Swiss immigrant, Bautista Gernimo Gargantini. The winery sources grapes for its Gran Estripe line from the Lunlunta-Maipu area and the rest of its wines are made from grapes grown in La Consulta and Tupungato areas of Mendoza.
Tasting Notes: Fresh, leafy notes to the cassis aromas, with roasted spices and cedar. Fresh and juicy on the palate with fresh, blueberry flavors, a spicy-oak kick and linear, full tannin. An impressive Cabernet Sauvignon.
