James Suckling 90
"Beautifully intense, almost black. Signature notes of black fruit and fresh cocoa on the nose. Smooth, developing a full body with powerful tannins. Good length on the finish, making this an indulgent, moreish wine."
Varietals : 61 Cabernet Sauvignon 39 Merlot
2016 vintage. A pretty, juicy red with plenty of dark fruit and layers of flavors that are quite upfront. The tannins are ripe and there is nice depth to suggest it should age for a decade or more easily.
One of the great terroirs, showing all the distinctive features of the Graves appellation. Soils are free-draining; they remain warm at night, promoting quick ripening and producing elegant wines.
