"The finest red from this appellation I tasted this year, Chateau la Canorgue's 2016 Luberon combines pungent, savory notes of leather, clove, allspice, espresso and black olive with plummy fruit. A blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Grenache and 10% Carignan and aged in a combination of foudre and tank, it's medium to full-bodied, with silky, supple tannins and a long, cool finish. It should drink well for 5-6 years."~Joe Czerwinski
"This magical wine transports you straight to the south of France! Full of beautiful dark, spicy fruit, with aromas of thyme, rosemary, lavender, olive, and black pepper...Provence in a glass!"~Distributor Notes

"A top organic and biodynamic estate in the heart of the Luberon region of France, Château la Canorgue produces both reds and whites. This red is initially quite powerful but over time opens and softens in the glass."~The Wall Street Journal
Excellent french wine - Not too heavy but good body..deep color with notes of full soil and finish off with berry undertone.
