70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc.
Fairly deep hue, still in its youth. Mature nose marrying ultra ripe fruit with notes of undergrowth and humus. The palate has retained excellent mellowness and shows off more of the same mature aromas. Beautiful performance with the capacity to improve. Gilbert & Gaillard 10-01-2014

In 1912, Pierre Henri Lacoste founded this piece of land. A few years afterward, Marguerite and Georges Rivière purchased land adjacent to the property. With the marriage of Denise Lacoste (daughter of Pierre Henri Lacoste) and André Rivière (grand-son of Marguerite and Georges River) the two properties were united to form one.
Today Martine Rivere, their daughter, manages, develops and markets wine of his family ownership and is perpetuating the tradition and knowledge passed for over 5 generations.
