Vineyards
163 acres under vine, with 138 acres red varieties (Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Counoise) and 25 acres white varieties (Grenache Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Ugni Blanc, and Rolle (Vermentino)). Clay/limestone soils.*in conversion to organic farming, certified QualiSud.

Composition
30% Grenache, 28% Syrah, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10%cinsault, 5% Rolle, 2% Carignan, 2% Counoise.

Viticulture
Yields of 4 tons/acre. Vines average 30+ years in age.

Vinification
Direct pressing, no maceration. 3 weeks fermentation at 55°F. No malolactic fermentation.

"I'm not a rose drinker. It was matched to a course at the very elegant restaurant "Charleston" in Baltimore, and I liked it so well that I asked for the wine's name. That's how I ordered it, and it's been just as good as it was at the restaurant."
