"This cava from Jaume Serra is Spain's big secret. A bottle of champagne method wine for less than ten dollars that actually has good qaulity characteristics is nearly impossible to find. It's a nonvintage wine that is consistently adequate from year to year with some upfront fruit and a nice champagnelike yeasty flavor on the finish. Not for New Years Eve or a milestone birthday, this wine is suitable for celebrating the good weather of spring, the first frost of autumn, catching three green lights in a row on the commute home, etc...."
"Crisp, Dry, lots of bubbles! Love it."
"My wife and daughter enjoy it mostly as a mimosa and the small bottles are perfect for that purpose. But also very enjoyable as a toast. Price point seems nice, also."
"This is a great little sparkling wine to serve to all of those party people who only drink champagne when they see you bring out the good stuff - keep hiding the good stuff for the people who appreciate it and serve the others this one - it is a very pleasant imitation :)"
"This is a crisp, dry , very good tasting sparkling wine that is very affordable"
"Clean, mild taste with good bubbles. I use it for champagne cocktails. For my application the (usually more expensive) extra-dry is just as good. If you want the taste of real champagne, then buy real champagne."
"Bought 4 bottles and all were undrinkable. May have been subjected to high heat somewhere along the supply chain."
