"A classic rose from Bandol, the 2022 Bandol Rose possesses a stony, elegant bouquet with aromas of iodine, red berries and spices, overlaid by nuances of curry and menthol. Layered and textured, perfectly balanced and moderately weighted, its fleshy and long with a mineral, delicate and mentholated finish. Its approachable now but also built to evolve with grace over the next 1-3 years. Drink: 2023-2026." - Wine Advocate 6/8/23

Certified Organic. A perennial favorite, the 2022 Bastide Blanche Bandol Rose is a fresh and classic vintage that's full of character. 78% Mourvedre, 18% Grenache, 4% Cinsault. Hand-harvested from vines grown in limestone soil.
In the early 1970s, Michel and Louis Bronzo acquired the property of Bastide Blanche in Sainte-Anne du Castellet in the Bandol appellation. Their goal was to produce wines equal to those of more famous appellations like Chateauneuf. Their painstaking efforts were rewarded in 1993 when conditions created this benchmark year that put Bandol in general - and Bastide Blanche in particular - amongst the constellation of top producers in France. Bastide Blanche has been certified organic since 2012. As is required of Bandol producers, all grapes are harvested by hand. This practice makes it possible to finely sort the bunches during harvest and to protect the fruit until it reaches the cellar.
