"The 2013 Côtes du Roussillon Villages Latour de France Les Cimes is made from 35% Syrah, 35% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre and the balance Carignan. Brought up all in barrique, one-third new, and bottled unfined and unfiltered, it yields stunningly pure notes of liquid rock, raspberry, black raspberry, crushed flowers and hints of vanilla bean. These flow to a full-bodied, seamless red that has building tannin, superb mid-palate depth and blockbuster length. Serious and classy all the way, it should have 10-15 years of longevity."
