Wine Spectator 91
Textbook Sancerre, with a chiseled, chalky spine that runs through a bracing mix of lemon zest, white peach and gooseberry flavors. Shows a light flicker of straw on the finish, though this stays zingy overall. Drink now through 2020.
Tasting Panel 93
Chalk, crisp pears and chamomile liven up on the nose, getting ready for a vibrant palate. Ultra- lean acidity invokes stone fruit, which develops a creaminess by mid-palate. Finishes sublimely fresh with key lime notes.-TP
Located in the heart of the Sancerre region, Domaine Delaporte is a family business that has been passed from father to son since the 17th century. The domaine can be found in the pretty village of Chavignol whose reputation for its famous goats cheese, Crottin de Chavignol, is widespread. Since 2010, Vincent Delaportes grandson, Matthieu Delaporte, has been fully focused on further improving the domaines wine.-Winery Notes
