Organically-farmed, hand-harvested blend of 80% Grenache (vines planted in 1948) & 20% Mourvedre (vines planted in 2010). Fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete tank and aged in a combination of concrete tank and foudre. Bottled without fining or filtration. Domaine St. Damien's cuvées of Gigondas have become the reference for classic full-bodied yet fine Gigondas, with consistent and high scores for every vintage. Almost as popular as their high-scoring Gigondas cuvées, are their Cotes-du-Rhone bottlings, renowned for their intense concentration, balance and tremendous value.
