"Containing much more Gualtallary fruit than the 2017 release (85 to be precise), this is an intense, deeply coloured Malbec with impressive focus, hints of graphite and wild herbs, red berry fruit and a long, refreshing finish. 2021-26"
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 90
"Eighty-five percent of the grapes for the 2018 Estate Malbec come from their Alluvia estate vineyard in Gualtallary and the remaining 15 are sourced from Finca Los Indios in El Cepillo in the San Carlos department, all in the Valle de Uco. 2018 was an average and dry year with very healthy grapes that fermented in concrete and matured in used barrels for ten months. The wine is elegant and floral, clean and varietal, with a soft palate with round tannins and good balance. Very good value. 450,000 bottles produced."
Intense violet color. In the nose, aromas of black fruits, violets and spices. Mineral and graphite notes. Great balance and freshness in the mouth, with good concentration and medium structure. Soft tannins and persistent finish. Food Pairing Sirloin strip steak, chimi-churri butter, French fries with herbs and roasted tomatoes. A pairing par excellence! And when it comes to preparing it, simplicity makes this dish even more exquisite.:~Winery Notes
