"Yellow-gold with gray tints. On the nose, fresh apricot, jasmine and orange zest. In the mouth, theres lots of underripe nectarine, some lime zest and a gentle, smooth stoniness that leads to a lean, clean and austere finish. A bright and joyous Riesling."~J.W.

Lots of fresh-grapefruit zest and white peaches in this medium-bodied dry white thats got plenty of structure and character. Long, clean and mineral finish. Very food friendly. Drink or hold. Screw cap.~J.S.

"20 Wines Under 20: You can never have enough riesling. At least, that's what I believe. It's especially interesting to compare the German rieslings with this one, from the Finger Lakes of New York. Its a little softer, less mineral and more floral, with citrus and peach flavors, but still with a spine of the acidity for which riesling is famous. The Finger Lakes is now arguably the best American region for riesling, and this is a delicious example."E.A.

Empire EstateEmpire Estate is a collaboration between Thomas Pastuszak, wine director of The Nomad Hotel in Manhattan and winemaker Kelby James Russell of Red Newt Cellars. The project was born from Thomas' passion to showcase an incredible winemaking region that we New Yorkers have right in our own backyard: The Finger Lakes. Drawing on old world inspiration, the wine crafted to express the dry style of this dynamic grape -- Riesling doesn't always have to be sweet! We hope you enjoy yet another one of the many reasons why we love New York.

Empire Estate 'Dry' Riesling 2017

"I was in search of a Riesling to take from NY to our friends in France who live in Alsace (and have very high standards for wine... no pressure!). We spent the holidays with them and wanted to take a taste of NY with us. This Empire Estate Dry Riesling 2017 did not disappoint... they loved it! We have since stocked up at home. Great quality and very reasonably priced."
