Item Description

"On the nose it offers red berry aromas, redcurrants, strawberries and raspberries. This wine offers a range of excellent dark fruit aromas, with a hint of blackcurrant and black cherry; you can also detect vineyard peaches and violets.

It's fresh, smooth and soft, with a hearty, full-bodied persistence. Its tannins are soft and elegant, giving the wine a delightful finesse on the palate: It's a solid and serious wine which drew its character from a slow but effective maturity which conferred to this vintage a magnitude that is pleasantly surprising. The Beaujolais Nouveau is luscious and harmonious, with perfect balance. " ~ Winery notes

George DuboeufBeaujolais. Doesn't the word alone have a magical sound to it? Beaujolais is a wine to be celebrated. Built in our family's image, we have worked throughout the years to make Beaujolais an essential addition to every table. This wine is as popular as it is festive, friendly and joyful. The story begins over 4 centuries ago, when the Duboeuf family was producing wine in the M√Ęconnais region. Georges was very young when his uncle and brother passed down both their passion for wine and their secrets of production. At just 18 years old, he preferred to take care of the family business with his brother rather than pursuing his studies.
