"The 2018 Chablis Sainte Claire (Organic) offers terrific depth and plenty of texture, along with clean, bracing underpinning that add both freshness and nuance without being overpowering. Lemon oil, tangerine, mango, white flowers, honey and mint are pushed forward in this decidedly bold Chablis. A whole range of more exotic, tropical notes develop with time in the glass. This is certainly intriguing." - Antonio Galloni
Single Vineyard, native yeast, organic Chablis. Temperature controlled. 100 stainless steel tanks for 9 months. On the nose, notes of lemon and yellow fruits; tangy and balanced on the palate.
Jean-Marc BrocardView all from Jean-Marc Brocard
Jean-Marc Brocard learned the art of the vine with Emile Petit, his stepfather, and his cousin, P'tit Louis. In 1973, Jean-Marc Brocard chose to settle in Préhy and build his own Domaine in the middle of vineyards. Over the years, the quality of the wines of Jean-Marc Brocard has been recognized in France and around the world.
Jean-Marc's son, Julien Brocard, moved back to the family estate in the mid 90s after earning a degree in engineering, with a different outlook on the vine and its environment. Nowadays, a large part of the vineyard is cultivated according to the practices of organic and biodynamic farming. We still continue our work in order to improve the quality of our products."
