"Our Jack London vineyard is long recognized for its prized red wines and its Zinfandel is no exception. Since our first vintage in 1987, the Jack London Zinfandel has produced flavorful wines with excellent fruit and well-rounded tannins. Located on Sonoma Mountain with a southeasterly exposure, the climatic conditions and long, cool growing season of this viticultural area create complexity and balance in the fruit. The influence of the vineyard’s red volcanic soil and the fruity characteristics of the grapes combine to produce an outstanding, very distinctive Zinfandel. Ripe fruit aromas of red currant and raspberries combine with aromatic spicy notes of vanilla and pepper. Rich, well-structured tannins provide an elegant mouth feel and a long finish." ~Winery Notes
