100 Greco Bianco. From 15-year-old Greco vines on sandy volcanic soils. Hand-harvested, direct-pressed, fermented spontaneously in stainless steel with no skin maceration. The wine is aged in steel for a year, bottled without fining or filtering and with minimal sulfur and then aged another six months before release. The name translates as' the braying of the donkey" and honors the venerable beast of burden that has traditionallly assisted Calabrian country folk with their hard labor on the land.
