The combination of this warm climate and its alluvial and gravelly loam soil is ideal for creating balanced wines of complexity, concentration and richness. Dark purple in the glass, the aromas are driven by rich, dark berry fruit with savory undertones and dark cocoa. Full and layered black cherry, plum, blueberry compote and tobacco glide across the palate along with an elegant structure and bright acidity that allows aging for 5-10 years.-Winemaker Notes
