Entre-Deux-Mers is a wine region in Bordeaux, in France. It is situated between the rivers Garonne and Dordogne, and is bound in the east by the border of the Gironde department and in the west by the Bec d'Ambès, the confluence of the Garonne and the Dor. The AOC is Entre deux Mers means between two tides.
This Bordeaux vineyard extends over 74 hectares around the estate and includes the highest point of the Gironde region. The choice of natural grassing of their soils for the past 25 years adds to an outstanding maste¬ry of the vines. Constantly striving for quality, Bernard Greffier (repre¬senting the fourth generation of the family) introduced efficient vinifica¬tion techniques such as the pneumatic pressing under inert gas, a meticulous temperature control during fermen¬tation, and careful conservation. All processing facilities are on the property which are surrounded by clay-limestone soils.
