More than 2,400 acres of vines in and around Tautavel and Vingrau, with additional acreage in Maury, Opoul, and Montner. Produced from old vines averaging 70 years in age, yielding just 2 tons/acre.
Vines are planted in clay/limestone and marne/sichist soils.
Only the free-run juice from a very delicate pressing was used. Stainless steel vinification, with no malolactic fermentation.
