This has a deep ruby purple color. The nose shows bright red and purple fruits with a touch of herbal complexity. The palate is rich and lush with light chalky tannins on the finish. This wine is a good example of the virtues of the best wines from the 2011 vintage in Bordeaux. There is open lively fruit and light tannins, enough for structure, but not so harsh to inhibit enjoyment at an early age. This is a great wine to enjoy, while you are waiting for your 2009 and 2010 Bordeaux’s to open up and soften up. Many of the Bordeaux’s from those vintages are all about the tannins and structure at this stage. ~Tasting Notes.
