Lambrusco Salamino is blended with 10% Ancelotta to give characteristic deep color and firm structure. The wine is vinified using the Charmat method and is kept near freezing in pressurized tanks until bottling.
Ruby red with notes of purple. Plum, blueberries and raspberry aromas with violet notes. Dry with quiet a body, intensely flavorful, just the right amount of acidity and gently tannic finish. An excellent pair with white meat, roast or italian style minestrone but is an all-around foodwine.
