“A crisp, expressive, light-bodied wine. Light straw in appearance. Vibrant aromas of quince, pear and pineapple. On the palate, fresh stone-fruit and apple flavors are backed by refreshing acidity, minerality, and a well-rounded mouth-feel. A versatile food wine that will pair well with poultry, shellfish, and vegetable dishes. Also, fabulous as an aperitif for a hot summer afternoon. Great to drink now, but ages beautifully over 2-5 years. Serve chilled.”-Winemaker’s Notes

“It all started as a simple plan: to make a wine that we’d love to buy. We wanted quality wine that offered excellent value and great packaging. Not exactly an epiphany, perhaps, but enough to motivate us into action. Of course, first we had to come up with a name. To keep peace in the families, we took our wives’ initials (we each have one wife) — that is how we explained to Marie, Anette and Nicky that we were going to be 'busy' most weekends. 'It’s for you!' we told them. And mostly it’s true."
José Conde and brothers Tyrrel and Philip Myburgh started making wine together in 2001. They are further supported by a group of dedicated grape growers from the Agter-Paarl region. From the first 300 cases made in a tractor shed, MAN Family Wines has grown to producing over 175,000 cases per year and exporting to 25 countries.”-Winery Notes

Great QPR

"We've been drinking this wine for the last 2-3 years. It's consistently great from vintage-to-vintage, and you can't beat the price."

Very nice for the price!

"For a $6.85 bottle this is "not bad - not bad at all" as they say. Served well chilled it is crisp light and dry. Full mouth of flavors, although I can't label any of them. But - if you want a cheap white - go buy this one! I am.PS - Went thru my initial purchase and just bought 6 more bottles. Again - it's not the absolute greatest white wine, but it is just a perfect sipping wine for any time you want a little. At this price you won't feel guilty and certainly won't go broke."

Don

Great Buy

Granger

a real value

"This has been my go to white for nearly a year now. Clean with just enough body and acidity to work with many foods. Never disappointed."

Steen Chenin Blanc is a winner!

"Chenin Blanc in general is a welcome departure from Chard, Sauv Blc, etc. Very versatile with food and tasty on its own. The Steen bottling has an excellent price/quality ratio.Oneida Wine Group"
