Winery Technical Data
REGION: Piedmont. BASARIN is one of the most famous
cultivation area of Nebbiolo grapes.
GRAPES: Nebbiolo
VINIFICATION: pressing, fermentation on the skins at 28 Celsius in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days. Then the wine is separated from skins and seeds and after several pouring, a clear and clean product is obtained.
AGING: after a year in stainless steel tanks, the wine is matured for a year in medium oak casks and in bottle for 6 months.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: garnet red, with orange hints over the years.
Bouquet: a fresh fruit fragrance which evolves in scents of vanilla, violet and wild rose.
Taste: dry, consistent, robust.
Alcohol: 13,5 - 14 Vol.
Serving temperature: 18-20 Celsius
Food suggestion: ideal with red meats, game and seasoned cheeses.
